Privacy Policy

Slotteo ("Slotteo," "we," "us") is operated by Ten Winds Enterprises, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect when you use slotteo.com, why we collect it, and who we share it with. We wrote it in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, email us at hello@slotteo.com and we'll answer directly.
Information we collect
Account information. If you create a Slotteo account (an "organizer" account) to build a slotte, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account's name and email. Sign-in works either via a magic link sent to your email or Google Sign-In — we never see or store your password, because there isn't one.
Invitee information. If someone invites you to respond to a slotte, you don't need a Slotteo account. We collect the name and phone number or email address you enter so the organizer can reach you and so we can send you a confirmation once a time is picked. If you leave a comment on a slotte, we store the name and text you submit, visible to anyone with the link.
Contacts. If you're an organizer, we keep a private contacts list on your account, built automatically from the people you invite to your slottes (their name, and the phone number or email you invited them at) — so the next invite is faster. This list belongs to you: it's never visible to anyone else, including the people on it, and we never merge or cross-reference it with another organizer's contacts, even in a redacted or anonymized form.
Google Calendar data. If you choose to connect your Google Calendar — as an organizer proposing times, or as an invitee checking your own availability — we request read-only access (calendar.readonly) through Google's OAuth consent screen. We only ever query Google's free/busy endpoint: we can see the time blocks where you're busy, never the title, description, guest list, or any other detail of what's actually on your calendar. You can disconnect this access at any time, either from your Slotteo account settings or directly from your Google Account's connected apps settings.
Payment information. If you leave a tip, your payment is processed directly by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and its amount.
Usage data.Like most web services, our hosting provider logs basic technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited — for security and reliability purposes. We also use a product analytics tool to understand which parts of Slotteo people actually use (for example, which way of creating a slotte is most popular, or where someone gets stuck) — it records pages viewed and specific actions taken (like creating a slotte or connecting a calendar), never the content of what you type. We don't record your screen or session, and autocapture of clicks and form input is turned off.
How we use information
We use the information above to run the core Slotteo product: creating and sharing slottes, recording responses, suggesting times based on real availability, sending confirmation and reminder messages, processing tips, and keeping the service secure and working. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not sell it — full stop.
Who we share information with
We rely on a small set of service providers to run Slotteo, each of whom only receives the information they need to do their specific job:
- Google — Calendar free/busy access, only if you choose to connect it.
- A database and account-sign-in provider, to run the core service.
- A payment processor, to handle tips — we never see or store your card details.
- Text message and email delivery providers, to send invites, reminders, and confirmations.
- A hosting provider, to run the application.
- A product analytics provider, to understand usage patterns and improve the product — configured to not record your screen, session, or the content of what you type.
Each of these providers is contractually restricted from using your data for anything beyond providing their service to us. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Google API Services User Data Policy.Slotteo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use data obtained from Google APIs to serve advertisements, and we do not allow humans to read this data except in the narrow cases described in that policy (e.g., with your consent, or to comply with the law).
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account or a slotte you organized or responded to remains active, plus a reasonable period afterward for records. You can delete a slotte at any time from your dashboard, which removes its responses and comments. To delete your account entirely, or to disconnect a stored Google Calendar connection, email hello@slotteo.com and we'll take care of it — typically within a few business days.
Your rights
If you're a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale — which is moot here, since we don't sell personal information to anyone. Wherever you live, you can reach out to hello@slotteo.com to ask what we have on file or to have it removed.
Children's privacy
Slotteo isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in, plus a first-party analytics cookie to recognize repeat visits for the product analytics described above. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Security
We use industry-standard practices — encrypted connections, access-controlled databases, and credentials that are never exposed to the browser — to protect your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we take this seriously given the calendar and contact data involved.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Slotteo after a change means you accept the updated policy.
